Chris Pratt Already Planning his Hollywood Exit
Former ‘Parks & Rec’ star Chris Pratt never imagined he would become an A-list movie star. Now, the Hollywood hunk has a very successful career with a number of big films under his name including ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Lego Movie’ franchises plus the upcoming Magnificent Seven remake, ‘The Real McCoy’, ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’, and the rumored ‘Indiana Jones’ reboot. Not to mention the monstrous ‘Jurassic World’.
You’d think Pratt would be enthusiastic for the future. But he reveals in a recent interview that he sees a precise ending for his career and is already planning his Hollywood exit strategy.
The young dad, who has a 2-year-old son, Jack, with wife Anna Faris, told ContactMusic, “I don’t think we are the kind of people who need to be in a $50 million house, Jack needs to be in yelling distance. Most important for us now is to keep this train rolling. Anna with her TV show, me with my movies and hopefully make it through to hit that number and then graciously exit stage left.”
“I don’t want my kid to be 10, and I’ve done 20 movies,” the actor told the Hollywood Reporter in another interview.
“I think that being a father is very meaningful and rewarding to Chris,” his wife said in a recent interview on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’.
“He’s a great dad. He’s a little more serious than he was before. It forces your hand. You really have to become an adult.”
She added. “Yesterday Chris and I took Jack to the train museum. There were paparazzi, but we were just like, ‘It’s an odd thing that’s happening, but let’s not stress or stress Jack out.’ At one point, Chris turned to me and said, ‘I don’t think I’ve ever been happier in my whole life.’ And I felt the same way.”
