George Clooney marries – Now, who’s the next most eligible bachelor?
Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney, formerly known for being THE bachelor, is officially a married man.
Clooney married a very intelligent British-Lebanese lawyer Amal Alamuddin over the weekend in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy, the actor’s representative said. The union is a marked departure from his previous relationships with various pretty models, actresses, and TV personalities.
It was the second marriage for Clooney, who got married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993. After that marriage ended, Clooney famously said he wouldn’t marry again.
Hence, it came as a surprise when it was confirmed he got engaged last April. It also left many scrambling to learn more about his fiancée.
Alamuddin, a London-based human rights lawyer, is of Lebanese origin, who has been involved in several high-profile cases including former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange.
He’s 56. She’s 36.
So with Clooney officially off the market, who do think will take his place as Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor? Bradley Cooper, Joe Maganiello, Zac Efron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Prince Harry..?
You be the judge.
