Luke MacFarlane & Brendan Fehr to Play Gay Lovers in NBC New Series
Openly gay actor Luke MacFarlane (right) will play a gay soldier, who is romantically involved with a doctor, played by Brendan Fehr, in NBC’s new summer drama series, ‘The Night Shift’.
MacFarlane will guest star as Rick Lincoln, a soldier who is just back from his latest stint in Afghanistan. When he arrives at San Antonio BFMemorial Hospital, we learn that he has a close connection to Fehr’s Drew.
‘The Night Shift’ is a medical procedural about a group of ex-Army doctors burning the midnight oil at a hospital. The cast includes Six Feet Under‘s Freddy Rodriguez and Merlin‘s Eoin Macken.
MacFarlane is best known for his role as Scotty Wandell in the television show, ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and Fehr is best known for portraying Michael Guerin in the WB television series ‘Roswell’.
