Daniel Radcliffe Talks About His Gay Love Scene
Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he was given step-by-step instructions to shoot a gay sex scene in his upcoming movie.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star, who will play poet Allen Ginsberg alongside actor Dane DeHaan in ‘Kill Your Darlings’, spoke to Graham Norton about the on set direction he received from director John Krokida while shooting a gay love scene.
Radcliffe said: “I was doing a gay sex scene and the director was giving step-by-step instructions. And the favorite note I have ever had was when we were kissing and the director shouted, “Not like that. Crazy sex f***** kissing!”
“I spent ten years in a kids’ franchise and that was definitely a moment of, ‘Yes, I think I’m moving on’.” Watch the interview after the gallery.
‘Kill Your Darlings’, which tells the story of a murder in 1944 and how it draws together the great poets of the beat generation, had its world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and is expected to release globally later this year.
