‘The Price Is Right’ Enlists First Male Model, Rob Wilson
Boston-born model/actor, Rob Wilson, made history yesterday by becoming the first male model ever to showcase prizes on CBS’s long running game show, ‘The Price Is Right.’
According to Wilson’s ‘Price Is Right’ bio, he “grew up watching the show with my family and loved it so much I’d even fake sick to stay home from school to watch!”
Wilson is “featured in TV, film and print throughout the world,” but spends his spare time “playing basketball, football and hiking.”
Wilson appeared on ‘Access Hollywood Live’ on Thursday and showed off his ripped muscles.
“For some reason this feels comfortable now,” Wilson told the hosts after taking off his shirt.
He said he had a blast with host Drew Carey and the other female models on the long-running CBS show.
“I just wanted to do my job, I think I did a pretty good job, everybody was so great. The models were so helpful,” he shared. “Drew is the man. He’s one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met in my life.”
Gay men and female fans might be disappointed to hear that he’s straight and taken.
“I am seeing somebody… I do have a girlfriend,” he explained. “She’s very supportive and also originally from the Boston area too.”
Wilson’s stint on ‘The Price Is Right’ will only last for one week, starting Monday, October 15 at 10 AM on CBS.
